This Green Planet Clean+ Membership Agreement (the “Agreement”) constitutes a legally binding contract between you (“You,” “Member,” or “Client”) and Green Planet Cleaning Services (“Green Planet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By enrolling in a Green Planet Clean+ Membership, scheduling a service, or otherwise using the services described herein, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT ENROLL IN A MEMBERSHIP OR USE OUR SERVICES.
1. Definitions
“Regular Cleaning” refers to the scope of work detailed in the Green Planet Regular Cleaning Checklist, which is provided to the Member and incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
“Service” or “Services” refers to the Regular Cleaning performed by Green Planet personnel at the Member’s specified property.
2. The Green Planet Clean+ Membership
2.1. Membership Tiers & Benefits.
Your membership entitles you to one (1) scheduled Regular Cleaning Service per Service Period at the agreed-upon Flat Fee for your chosen tier:
- Consistent Clean (Bi-Weekly): One Service every two weeks at a 20% discount from the standard non-member rate.
- Pristine Living (Weekly): One Service every week at a 25% discount from the standard non-member rate.
Core Benefits: All members receive the Preferred Member Rate, automated scheduling and billing, priority booking access, and dedicated Member Support. As part of the Regular Cleaning, members also receive ongoing light upkeep of the refrigerator interior and oven door.
2.2. The Onboarding Clean & Flat-Fee Confirmation.
Your membership begins with an Onboarding Clean. This initial service is charged at the Promotional First Clean rate (see Section 2.3) and allows our team to assess your home and confirm your recurring Flat Fee. Following the Onboarding Clean, we will confirm your recurring Flat Fee in writing (via email or text). Your recurring membership billing will commence on your next scheduled cleaning date, as detailed in Section 4.1.
2.3. Promotional First Clean Discount.
New Clean+ Members are eligible for a one-time 50% discount on their first Regular Cleaning Service (the “Promotional Clean”). This discount is exclusive to new Clean+ Members and is contingent upon enrollment in a Clean+ Membership tier (Weekly or Bi-Weekly). The Promotional Clean is charged as a separate one-time payment at the discounted rate. Your recurring membership billing begins on your next scheduled cleaning date.
Promotional Clawback: If the membership is cancelled before the completion of the second scheduled cleaning service, the promotional discount will be voided. The difference between the Promotional Clean price and the full standard non-member rate will be charged to the payment method on file.
3. Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Cancellation
3.1. Automatic Scheduling.
Your cleanings are automatically scheduled on the same day each week (for Weekly members) or every two weeks (for Bi-Weekly members). Your preferred day and time window are selected during your onboarding process. Any changes to your recurring schedule must be requested through Member Support and are subject to team availability.
3.3. Skipping or Cancelling an Individual Service.
We require a minimum of 24 business hours’ notice to reschedule or skip a scheduled Service without a fee. As your membership services are pre-paid, the following policies apply:
- Late Cancellation (Less than 24 hours’ notice): A $90.00 cancellation fee will be charged. Your pre-paid service for that appointment will remain as a credit on your account for use within the current monthly billing cycle. Credits do not roll over.
- Lock-Out: If our team is unable to gain access to the property upon arrival for any reason, the pre-paid service for that appointment will be forfeited. No service credit will be retained, and no refund will be issued.
4. Billing and Payments
4.1. Membership Fees, Billing & Payment Authorization.
Your Clean+ Membership is month-to-month and renews automatically.
- Promotional First Clean: Charged as a separate one-time payment on the day of your first cleaning service at 50% off the standard non-member rate.
- Recurring Monthly Fee: Your full monthly membership fee is charged on the first cleaning day of each billing cycle. Weekly members are billed for 4 cleanings/month; Bi-Weekly members for 2 cleanings/month, each at the agreed-upon Flat Fee.
- Automatic Renewal: Your stored payment method will be charged automatically on your monthly renewal date for the upcoming month’s services.
Payment Authorization: By agreeing to these Terms, you authorize Green Planet Cleaning Services to charge your payment method on file for your Promotional First Clean, all recurring membership fees, applicable cancellation fees, and any promotional clawback amounts as described in Section 2.3.
5. Service Scope and Client Responsibilities
5.1. Scope of Regular Cleaning.
Your membership includes the services detailed in the Green Planet Regular Cleaning Checklist. Any tasks outside this checklist are considered Add-On Services, must be requested in advance, and will be quoted separately. All Add-On Services are billed separately and are not included in your upfront monthly membership fee.
5.2. Home Condition & Rate Adjustment.
Your recurring Flat Fee is based on your online estimate and confirmed after your Onboarding Clean. If the actual condition, size, or scope of your home differs materially from the details provided during the estimate process, Green Planet reserves the right to adjust your Flat Fee. Any adjustment will be communicated to you in writing before your next scheduled service.
6. The Greentified™ Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your Regular Cleaning Service, you must notify Member Support within 24 hours of the Service completion. Your sole and exclusive remedy will be for us to arrange to return and re-clean the specific area(s) of concern at no additional charge. Refunds are not offered for services that have been performed.
8. Membership Term and Cancellation
8.2. Cancellation by You.
You are responsible for cancelling your Clean+ Membership through your online account or by contacting Member Support before your next monthly renewal date to avoid future charges. No refunds or credits are provided for partial months.
10. Employee Non-Solicitation
You agree not to solicit for hire, either directly or indirectly, any employee or former employee of Green Planet for the purpose of providing cleaning services for a period of twelve (12) months after the termination of your Clean+ Membership. Should you breach this clause, you agree to pay a liquidated damages and referral fee of $10,000.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR RIGHTS. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the Service is provided.
14. Amendments to Terms
Green Planet reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide you with at least thirty (30) days' written notice (via email to the address on file) of any material changes to these Terms, including but not limited to changes in pricing, billing practices, cancellation policies, or service scope.
Your continued membership and use of Services after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your membership before the effective date of the changes without penalty. The promotional clawback provision in Section 2.3 will not apply to cancellations made solely due to disagreement with material changes to these Terms, provided the cancellation is made before the effective date of such changes.
